Questionable visit to the cardiologist. There is a “minor abnormality” that they said not to worry about as long as it doesn’t get worse in a year. Dermatologist called - Biopsy came back positive for skin cancer (squamous cell), so they will be digging a chunk out of my face Monday.
Have a Chihuahua on me. This dog would kill us all if she had the body of a pit bull.

Yikes. At least they’re identified now and not later.
Take care, bud.

Not your face! That’s where you keep your good looks!

Ditto what CB said. Three weeks ago my 29 year old
niece died at home from an aortic aneurysm that had gone undetected her whole life. If she’d had a heads-up earlier she’d still be with us. Consider yourself fortunate, my friend.

Damn. Sorry to hear it.
Where on your face, and how big a chunk?

Good luck with the op man.
I suspect that Chihuahuas are like that because they don’t have bodies of pit bulls. L ike little guys who pick fights with large guys who can’t fight back without looking like bullies, that sort of thing.

Ouch! That sucks, but glad they are catching stuff early! Hang in there!

Just keep on keeping on mate.
Hopefully it’s caught early enough and isn’t going to be an issue.

You were asking for an out on that whole school volunteer gig...
As a classically trained barrister and solicitor, I suspect you know what to do.
Seriously though, stay well. Hopefully it is just a small spot, easily removed and never to return.. and the cardiac issue remains a non-issue. Just another gentle reminder by the universe to enjoy it while we can.

Damn, that sucks mate...keep us apprised and I hope the rest of your day was at least a little better!

When it comes dealing with skin cancer, dig fast and dig early. Our electrician is a testament to not doing that...he’s far from dead but dealing with it late has come at a price.
Good luck with it!

As long as you stay on top of it, the skin cancer can be dealt with. My grandmother lived with it for many, many years. Her skin was as fair as it comes. Good luck!

I think you should keep the bandages way longer than normal then keep referencing lots of fighting innuendos . Use it for intimidation at the local PTA meeting.
